Hey all.
Wanted to post some 3D Marks using the new 40.72 drivers..
System: Athlon 2100+, 512mb DDR266, PNY ti4200 64mb(250/513)
Nvidia driver 30.82: 3D Marks nature test 1024x768 noAA, 43 highest FPS reached
the new 40.72 drivers: Natue test at same settings, I hit 80fps.
~30.82 1024x768 noAA, 9208 3Dmarks
~40.72 with same settings, 9810 3Dmarks
A nice performance boost with the new drivers, eh? Anyone else getting better results using the latest nvidia drivers?

Try to check the texture sharpening checkbox in the antialliasing tab and you'll get the same result as the 30.82 gives.

Another thing is that this 40.72 nview will atomatically switch to NTSC TV signal though you selected PAL whenever the resolution or the refresh rate change in winXP.

The MTexel remains the same as before the texture sharpening was not selected. The only difference is the pixel shader tests drop fps about 15-20fps.
