is it true that a 128mb card of nvidia run in a core clockspeed of 500mhz? so this means the new 8X 128mb card runs much faster than the ordinary 128mb card. i need comments about this??

No, it´s not true. OK so I haven´t seens a lot of details about this card, but it´s not running at 500mhz. Not even the NV30 is expected to run that high. The memory is another story, if it´s DDR at 250mhz then it would run at 500mhz, since DDR doubles the frequency.

Nay. If you're looking for a card in the nVidia 128MB AGP 8X price range, stop looking. Get a ATI 9500 Pro. If it's not already available, it will be in a few days. Can be back-ordered from here. The 9500 Pro is a better card for the future than any card in the GeForce4 Ti series.

I think you are thinking of the memory speed which did get boosted to 500mhz. As opposed to the non-8x 128mb which is 444mhz. The core speeds are the same...250mhz.

And I agree with the other guy that if you are looking at this card, then get a 9500pro.

Mate, it is clearly shown that all the card are running at 250MHz core, who told you the core is 500MHz? I'll kill him for you.
