LOL. I've been called noob for a hundred different reasons. It means
nothing. I supose if Aldur's is the best that you have, then it makes
sense to wear it.

i had a nice fireclaws druid wearing full aldurs, he worked prett well
even in hell as most of his damage is fire anyway....

Aldur's is a bit more viable in Hell than most people think, simply because
they don't give enough credit to its enhanced damage factors, both overall
and to demons/undead. Perfectly playable in Hell, I think, although at a
bit slower pace than most probably like. And with a few juicy charms of the
right type a Druid with the set could probably hold his own with a bunch of
other melee types/builds.
I think the biggest problem is that not that many people really like playing
Druids at all, no matter what they're wearing. :-)

i actually have some nice equip.
i have unique totemic helm jala-something, arkaines valor +1 etc.
the main problem is that i don't know what build should i build.
the windy druid looks nice, and shapeshifting one are also nice.
if equip. is no problem what build would you recommend?

I have never played a druid, and have no desire to, so I really can't
say what druid to build. However, with Arkaine's high defense and
awesome boost to life, a barb just screams out at me. I'd use that to
build a shieldless concentrate/berserker, with a biiiiiig two handed
axe, or a wicked looking polearm!

yea a fireclaw druid with full aldurs is pretty nice... i tried that one
also, slap on stormshield and tgods also and you can really tank/kill
monsters in hell.
another + for the set is the str and dex bonusses the items give, so low str
is needed to wear even stormshield. all points saved on str/dex + the vit
bonus from the set items+full set together with oak sage can give you a very
nice life also

It says those stat adds 3 times, but isn't that a display bug? I thought it
just added it once, or at least that is what I remember from when I had a
werewolf wear the set.

I don't think the full set is very good at all, but I've had a lot of
success using the armor and the boots of the Aldur's set on Strafe Zon's and
Throw Barb's. The combination of stat and resistance bonuses along with the
150% AR boost really do wonders for those two builds.
I seem to be the only one who ever uses any of the Aldur's set by choice for
end-game and it's usually only for those two builds.
