I'm upgrading my system and want to replace my old Matrox 450. I'm not big into games and such but would like a good quality, fast, dual monitor video card that won't break the bank. Say $150 or so.

Any thoughts or recommendations? Was looking at the ATI 9000 Pro (128 Ram) as my #1 choice so far.

Thanks in advance.

If you want to use two crt's then make sure whatever you get says dual vga or dual crt and not just dual monitor. I learned the hard way that dual monitor does not necessarily mean dual crt. See the suck the wang post just below this one.

The msi Ti4200 is faster than anything from ATI in your price range. If you want TV out ATI is the only game in town but otherwise the Ti4200 will outpace the rest. I have an 8500le and a Ti4200 and though I don't play games I do notice the difference in responsiveness.
