ROFL... I had a pretty hard time letting my girl get on the bus for the
first time a few years ago. She had never been outta our sight for the
first five years of her life. She was really excited about it tho so...
now she is going into third grade and is still just as excited to go back to
school.

I told him what you said last night while I was playing in NM with your
zon. I don't think it hit home then.

Well he returned from school in tears. His water that he was drinking
at break was spilling everywhere. He came back with his Sponge Bob
lunch box but he did not have his Incredible Hulk back pack. The kid
sitting next to him on the bus was yelling "I'll find it for you Nik!"
so it looks like he has made friends. The pack is probably in the
school still hopefully. His name is in big black magic marker on the
top. If someone else brings it home their parents can't miss his name
on the top. Hope we find it.

He wouldn't talk to me on the phone to tell me about his day. I pity my
wife tomorrow morning. It will probably be hell for her just trying to
get him ready and get on the bus. But I hear that he did have some fun
painting something. I'll have to be a great dad tonight at dinner and
squeeze out the good things so that I can keep him focused on wanting
to go.
