Voodoo 3 vs TNT2 vs Geforce

Friends,

My system is Soyo k7vta-pro, Athlon 1300mhz (FSB133), 256mb and a Voodoo 3 3000 AGP.
I have also a TNT2 Ultra.
Using Win2k, quake 3 @ 800x600, using V3 scores 83fps!, but using TNT2 with exactly same configuration scores only 47fps!!!
I was considering an upgrade (GeForce2 GTS), but im afraid spending money only for a small increase in performance. (I Live in South America, Ge2 GTS still expensive here).
I know its strange to compare V3 with 2 GTS, but some tests, here @ toms, show TNT2 and Voodoo3 with similar performance.
*PS* I was using 3rd part drivers (Xpentor).

If some1 can help me to consider an upgrade... Actually im thinking in a Frankstein Voodoo 5 64mb! Here in brazil it costs U$ 60 and a GTS costs U$ 75

Get the Gf2. Better driver support and compatible with all games.

I've also got a V3, and I had a TNT 2 for a while. I liked the V3 much better, and it seemed much faster too.
Do not get the Voodoo 5...!
Since 3DFX doesnt exist anymore, some new games dont support Voodoo cards anymore. In the future, none of them will.
Get the GTS. There will be a pretty big increase in performance from you V3.

Yes, V3 <b>owned</b> TNT2.

Yes, GF2GTS is a much better choice then voodoo5.
