Wow, I am surprised no one here tried to start a conversation regarding NV30 and the THG article or other websites.
Anyways, PLEASE have your comments here.
I currently do not have time, it's almost sleep time, however I'd like you guys to see just how much Doom III slaughters at even 1280*1024 :frown: , and the NV30 VS R9700 and Ti4600, looks like old trashed resolutions will be needed: http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.html?i=1749&p=7
Anyways, I can say the NV30 is exciting, and yes the 48GB/sec has been proven by Anandtech as well, as an estimated bandwidth, so AMD_Man is right about it. 16GB but with 4:1 compression. This should theoretically prove competition to ATi's card in bandwidth.
I am very disappointed however that even with 0.13m, nVidia destroys all hope for better multitexturing by putting 8 pipes with 1 TMU...
In any case, it seems worthy of competition, vertex and pixel shading features by CineFX are just jaw-dropping, 65 536 vertex instruction, this ain't no quantum leap lol.
In anycase, all comment here!
