Hi-
I am trying to replace the Voodoo 2 / STB trio 64v video cards in a 4 year old PC with a 32 MB Asylum GeForce2 PCI card. The PC runs Win98 and has an ABIT BH6 MB with 440BX chipset. The PC won't boot, or at least the monitor does not switch on.

Any help would be appreciated. I have two impatient kids who seem to believe that I can fix anything.

First put the old card back in . Go to ADD REMOVE Programs and remove the old video drivers.

Now put the new card in and restart the computer. DO NOT load the drivers. When the add new hardware wizzard starts .Tee it that it is a Standard PCI Graphics adaptor.
You must reboot again.

Now install the latest drivers for your card. Reboot again. Now you may want to update the DirectX drivers.
