When will rad9500 pro release?

Does anyone know when the 9500pro will be available? I just read the review THG did on it and the other new radeons and I was quite impressed. I'm thinking of returning my ti4200 64mb for one if they will be available soon.

Yea, I read that THG review too and I am most interested in the 9700 (Non-PRO) card.
When will we see this actualy on sale?

Are there official release dates on these cards anywhere?

Oh, one other thing, will other companies be releasing 9700's (non-Pro) and 9500Pro cards?..like Hercules, Tyan etc?

from online retailers i've been told the date of 6th December for both 9500 pro and 9700 non pro

Look at the Anandtech review. It's with updated drivers and the actual board that'll be selling. Monsterous increases in performance. Nearing Ti4600 speeds and with AA and aniso, it somply blows everything ('cept the R9700's) away!

...And all the King's horses and all the King's men couldn't put my computer back together again...

I checked out that anandtech review and I was shocked. The 9500pro really is on par with the ti4600 and the target price is 200! Forget the ti4200, I'll wait a few weeks and buy the radeon!! Thanks for the input!

I just looked at AnandTech's article on the new Radeon 9500Pro and I can hardly believe how small the card appears.
