Yep, would like to build myself a site.
My ip says I have 4 meg to work with.
The thing is my local college wants $150 for a 2 day crash course on "web creation". Too expensive for me :-(
Some of you guys certanly know of a or many good, simple, affordable "how to" books on the subject. Any suggestions please.
Sincerely
Danny

The best thing to do is get hold of microsoft front page - Makes webpages - all you do is click, drag, type and basically make it look nice - don't need to know HTML code - buts its there on a Tab if you want to mess with it. You work on a wysiwyg interface - That way you see what your page is looking like as you make it.
It's the easiest one to start with, then move onto hotmetal which is better and more complex - then move to the daddy - Dreamweaver - Makes stunning websites - thats what I use. Thats when you can start adding stuff like Flash movies.

If it ain't broke, Don't fix it.
Exactly - Thats for when he's more advanced and wants to do this kinda stuff. If he's advanced enough to want to use Flash then he'll want a better web developer.

Thanks you guys, you always come threw :-)
Will check out "tutor" and also "front page".
Is front page included in "ms office 2000 professionnal edition", cause this is all I have.
How about Corel office 7, anything in that suite?
Thanks again, will be getting on it.
