Greetings Jeff,
What you need is proper Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) support, not forwarding ports (in fact
forwarding them may actually break it). To do so, firstly upgrade to the latest version of
the firmware for your BEFSR41 here:

Then, you'll need to turn on UPnP capability in the router, which is usually found in the
Password tab of the router configuration i the BEFSR41. You'll then need to reboot.
