Can't install Windows 7. Says that some file is missing and interrupts the process.

Did you try running the Upgrade Advisor before upgrading to Windows 7? It scans your system and lets you know if you need to make any changes before being able to run Windows 7 - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/downloads/upgrade-advisor

It's be helpful to know if you are upgrading or installing a full retail version of Windows 7. Does your computer meet the system requirements for Windows 7? Are you installing 32-bit or 64-bit?

Thank for your answer. I have the problem solved. The original midia from Microsoft was damaged and it was not possible to finish the instalation procee. They are going to substitute it and I installed it with another midia to be sure that it was OK. Everythingnis rinning very well. Thank you again.
