I am trying to install sims3 world adventures and everything seemed fine but when I went to the welcome screen it said there was a problem and to see log. I have no idea what that is

The Sims 3 is a bit fussy about the computer specifications and particularly the graphics. Compare your specs with what's written on the DVD case to make sure you fit the bill.
