Dual DSL Connections?

I have a 608/128 DSL account with 5 available static IP's. I was wondering if there was a way to run two NIC's and two IP's on the same computer to double the transfer rate? I know Windows has support for dual modem connections, but I don't know about dual network connections. TIA.

The speed of the line you have should be controlled by the package to which you subscribed - in your case 608/128, I'm assuming. More computers means slower connections for all. So I don't think you'll have much of a gain by doing that...

Think of your phone line as a spectrum of available data transfer. lets say from 1-3 is normal phone talk spectrum. lets say the full spectrum is from 1-10. Well if you just have normal phone (no dsl), you are only using the first part of the spectrum. Well when you get dsl, you begin to use a large portion (or all) of the rest of the spectrum. Getting two dsl modems will NOT make new spectrum for the data for you. Now if you can get two network connections to the internet (I don't know), then you might be able to get one dsl and one cable modem.
