Friend of mine has cable. Where do you find the little TVs, and can you shut down cable connection this way? Will it automatically go back on during reboot? Win98
Thanks

you dont shut down a cable conenction like you do a dialup- its a permanent connection.

Will pulling the plug work. Lol. Ok, thanks, wasn't sure. I use DSL.

By the way I was wondering, because doing a scan disk is taking to long. I was going to sudjest that also as one of the things to shut down, during the scan disk.

Lol

How do you startup in safe mode, using Win98se? That might be the way to go, since my friend has like 18 things running.
