I want to upgrade my PIII 866 + asus TUSL2 815E + 512 MB ram + Prolink gf2 mx400 32M
with Gainward 3500 128 m
But I wonder if it is worthy to do this.
Or there is better choice.
Please give me some advice.
Thank you~

Your probabally going to get this the most...
Upgrade your video card. Get a Geforce 4 Ti 4200 or even now an Ati Radeon 9500 Pro(which seemingly has a better price/perfomance then the fabled Ti 4200) Other than that you can upgrade your P3 866 to something higher though i dont know what type it is cause i dont know much about the P3's. I think you may be able to go to 1.13 ghz or even 1.4 depending on what model. That may turn out to be expensive for the little performance gain you will be getting. For that much get an Athlon Mobo, two 256mb sticks of DDR 266 memory and an XP 1600+ or whatever you can afford.
WTF, i read it all wrong and im not going to delete it, i missed the "with Gainward 3500 128 m." Is the Gainward 3500 a Geforce 3 Ti 500? Nvidia didnt make a 128 mb version of the Geforce 3 Ti 500. It may be a Ti 200. Go with the Geforce 4 Ti 4200 with the Nvidia route. Stay away from the MX's. They are death sentences. But dont forget what a said above. That may still be a good upgrade option that offers a much better future upgradability outlook than your current system.

Of course you could put a PIII 1.4GHz 512k chip in there, but it would cost you a lot.
