i just installed my 9500pro in my computer (replacing an albatron ti 4200 128mb) and man what a difference. the installation was a dream (i also got the latest drivers). w/the 4200 i had to adjust the screen because on certain game the screen moved about an inch to the right or left. so i had to adjust it and then adjust it back for windows. i've not had one problem w/this card. diablo 2 went in and it works great (as long as i use direct draw). i've yet to have a problem and i've been on my computer alot lately and will continue to do so because soon i won't be able to touch it for several weeks after x-mas. i love this card and i highly recommend it.

FYI, your screen moved was because your refresh rate or your resolution changed and different refresh rates in certain resolution were not saved in your monitor earlier.
The latest detonator with the refresh rate overide solves this problem...

doesn't neccessarily solve it, my desktop is 1152x864 @ 75Hz, but when i play games at 1280x960 i have to use 60Hz because its the most my monitor supports

Yeap…1280x960 is at 60Hz, if your monitor is not larger than 17”. So you just need to readjust your monitor for 1280x960 @ 60Hz and this setting will be saved in your monitor as a user’s setting so that next time when you start whatever screen at 1280x960, your picture on your screen will not move to one side...

I must admit, I've been seriously looking at this card, as it's more affordable than the R9700 Pro. But the 9700 Pro is the daddy, after all.

ATI really is king at the momemt.

I'm glad to see ATI being agressive. They released R9000, R9500, R9700 non-pro/pro. Nvidia tries to catch up with re-releasing their Ti and MX cards with 8x. Good strategies by both parties. The thing is a lot of ppl are still informed less that they think the R9000 is better than the R8500 and that 8x will make your card faster.
