It's better than GeForce 4 MX and it's fully DX8. You can play games at 1024x768x32. Anyway, why not get the Ti4200 since it's only just a little more expensive or maybe the Radeon 9500 pro.
i have a ti200. it's a great card. getting it or gf4 depends also on the price. but you should know that this card is very amenable to overclocking. read several reviews and you will notice that you can oc it past the regular gf3 and almost touching the performance of the ti500. again, would recommend looking at the price and chking out the reviews and benchmarks when you make your decisions. if you can't get it for cheap and if your system is fairly fast, then i would go with the faster newer solutions. if your system is not too fast (less than 1.2ghz) and you can get the ti200 for a real good price (chk pricewatch.com), then you should get the ti200
I had a Visiontek GF3 Ti200 and it was great. My bro in law still runs it in his system and it performs well (slightly overclocked). He plays all the newer games including Battlefield 1942 and UT2K3 without any problems.
my first gf3 ti 200 point of view was faulty!it made artifacts in the default speed.so i returned it and took i new one.
the problem is that the second one is also doing artifacts in 3dmark 2001se and in games fifa 2003.i do not know what to do now.
my system consists of athlon xp1800 o/c to 1,64
asus a7v kt-133
512mb ram crucial
sb live 5.1
any suggestions?
could it be the motherboard faults??
