USR USED TO post firmware upgrades for their 33.6 modems that would make them 56k modems. Then they figured out that it made more money for them to quit that and force owners to get new modems. So I have some 33.6 USR modems sitting around and can't find the 56k upgrade firmware, does anyone know a good source?

What's the frequency, Kenneth?

Arguing about Intel/AMD is like being in the Special Olympics even if you win you're still retarded!

Yes, lots of drivers but I don't see any firmware updates (like they used to publish). People used to buy USR modems for 2-4x the price of other modems because they were upgradable. Now people pay 2-4x the price simply for the name.

I asked a guy I worked with and he said he remembers you being able to do that but doens't know where. So I guess this is just another bump.

For a few months after the firmware upgrade was released, it was available free to download. Then they switched to a paid download. Then they dropped it. So my only hope is that it's posted on someone else's site.
