Hey, I have a GA-7IXE4 gigabyte motherboard, and it has a 1x2x agp port. I want to buy a Radeon 9000 pro 64mb card, and it only supports x2 and x4 agp port. will it work?

It seems that your mobo has the 3.3V AGP slot and the ATI Radeon 9000 has a universal connector. So you should be able to install the video card into the slot. How well it will work I can not say.

The solution may be obvious, but I can't see it for the smoke coming off my processor.

A little research goes a long way
Edited by paulj on 12/26/02 04:08 PM.
