short freeze when posting message

Every time when I post a message and clink "send" or
enter, the msn will freeze for a few second, then the
message will appear on the box. Can anyone explain why
this happen and ways to solve the problem? I did try to
reinstall it but the freezing problem still happen. Now
if i want to type a few message at one time, i have to
type it (even not showing in the message box at one)
while i can't see what i am typing and enter them. The
other side of the party actually did receive my message
once i enter it, just it doesn't show at my side cause
the msn just freeze.
