Multiplayer Game Question

My son and I play Civ 3 Gold multiplayer often and we can only get his
computer to host the games, any game I try to host is not visible to him. We
have tried a direct IP connection and insured that the firewall on each
machine allows access. We both have Windows XP SP2 machines as well.

Any thoughts why one computer can host and the other can not?
