My cpu fan sudden stop turnning

My motherboard is ASUS CUSL2-C
CPU fan is FOXCON PK045
It often stop a few seconds

A few possibilities:

Make sure the power lead is connected properly.

Clean it.

Replace with known good fan.

Do you have some sort of SmartFan monitoring software running? Is your CPU overheating when it does this? If none of the above solves the problem, it's possible the Motherboard has gone wacko.

Are you sure it's stopping? Asus Probe often reports the fan has stopped when it really hasn't.
