I went here and got these extra units and terrains :

Can anyone tell me exactly which directory I'd place them in and how to use
them? Thanks!

It mentions where to put them on the page you reference.
They are meant for mod makers and don't impact the normal game.

Yes, it says "Note that this content (including subfolders) must be
installed into the root directory of the Play the World expansion product in
order for it to function properly." However, I wasn't able to do anything
with the stuff there. Now you tell me those files are only useful for
modders though, so I guess I can just stop wondering about it. Thanks!
