Hi everybody,
I hope this board can give me some hint.
I just purchased a ATI AIW 9600 Pro card thinking that I can actually capture videos from my ANALOG camcorder and edit with the included Pinnacle Studio software (ATI version).
After connecting the camcorder with the Imput Adapter, nothing happens.
Actually, in he manual, they do not even describe how to capture, which software you are supposed to use, etc.
The Pinnacle Studio has a capture setting just for digital, so I do not see any ways I can capture my movies.

I am very disappointed by ATI because their manual is really not helpful.....at least to me.

I hope someone can enlight me with the right procedures.

you connect the camcorder in the analog in of your AIW and you start the TV. Just select the composite connector in the setup panel and press the record button to start capturing. You should take some time to go through the setup and have a look at all the option, in order to be more familiar with your card. there is help files on the ATI disk too, to help you.

-Always put the blame on you first, then on the hardware !!!
