Lexar JumpDrive

WinXP on an Asus A7V333, updated 4in1 and Enhanced USB2 drivers.

I just reinstalled XP after a fatal crash. Now when I plug my JumpDrive (thumb drive) into any USB port, XP re-boots. This is after all the 'new hardware found' and 'installing new hardware' finishes. I get a flash of a Blue Screen then the pc reboots. I had the JumpDrive working before I had to re-install everything - just plugged it in and it was there. Now ... I don't know. Any ideas what the conflict may be ?

I don't get it - but it works.
After trying several things and getting nowhere I clicked on 'Send Error Report To Microsoft'. After it sent the report I was directed to a MS Knowledgebase page and it told me to update my Roxio ECDC. I had not updated after re-installing ECDC 5. So I did. My JumpDrive works fine now. NEVER would have figured that one out.
