I recently installed a system monitoring program from
MSI my mobo's manufacturer.
It monitors fan speed, temperature and voltage from the
power supply as well as CPU voltage.
I am getting alarms on the power supply voltage ONLY
when I play PTW. The voltage shows going above 13 volts.
Any one else have similar problems?

im guessing the two are conflicting with each other. I very much down PTW is
overloading your pc causing the voltages to go high.

Try MBM instead http://mbm.livewiredev.com/
MBM is normaly better than MSI/Asus/Abit software.....

Well the power supply died!
But what is strange is that the ONLY warnings
I got was when I played PTW.
As a matter of fact the Power Supply died WHILE
booting PTW!
Could be PTW forced the video card to draw more voltage?
The monitoring program is sitting at
about 10 volts and purring along.

well its probably because PTW is the only thing putting full load on your
cpu

if you load something like setiathome, it will put 100% cpu load and will
toast ya PSU propper ;)
