well, i'm convinced that the poor quality of the video display in the Video
Conferencing portion of MSN Messenger 6.2 is due to SP2 ... here is why ...
when i send and receive Webcam+Audio everything works fine and the video
quality is really good on both my PC and the other party's ...

if instead of the Webcam+Audio we try the Video Conferencing, the video on
both sides gets periodically distorted ... square-shaped patterns appear on
the display on both sides of the conversation ...

so the Webcam+Audio works flawlessly, but the Video Conferencing does not
.... this is on the same hardware and between same two users ... there is
only one conclusion and that is that the MSN Messenger 6.2 Video
Conferencing and SP2 need to be fixed ...

does anyone know if this is being addressed in the upcoming version 7 of the
MSN Messenger?

thank you!
