Jonathan: In my Contact list I did add my Friend Leonor Caceres -email, but
messenger list her as Sofia24, her e-mail is leonorcaceres@hotmail.com, how
can change sofia24, my other contacts are listed correctly. Also when I
close messeger, the icon still in system tray until shutdown my pc.

If you want to use custom names you can use 3rd party software like Mesenger
Plus.

Greetings Donaldo,

Her name is actually dependent on what she set it to. If you want her name changed, you'll
have to ask her to change it herself.

If you want to make sure Messenger is gone completely when you're done using it, right-click
the icon in the notification area and choose Exit.

Jonathan, Alex: afte getting msgplus, I my pc get virus, do not avise people
to get this website. Now I get a tool bar, alot of ads, (casino, poker
etc.etc.)
How can get rig off these..help me

You have just installed the messenger plus sponser.
To remove it, uninstall the Messenger Plus and install it again.
On installetion it will ask you if you want to install the sponser, click on
No.

Alex, after unistall the messenger plus sponser, the search bar tool, and a
lot de junk thing still in my pc., I run virus scan and it found Troj
Swizzor.r (non-cleanable) I am really sure, if somebody follow your advice
to get messeger plus, will get a virus. Also I run hijackthis to remove it,
and when I start ie the search bar tool is there.

I'm using Messenger Plus all the time and all of my co-workers and friends
too, if you have a virus it's propbobly not from the messenger.

About the toolbar, when you're uninstalling the Messenger Plus, uninstall
all the information, plugins and personal information (Messneger plus). It
will not effect the MSN Messenger information.
Ufter you uninstall it delete the Messenger Plus folder from the program
files folder it's still exist there.
Make sure that when you uninstall it, your IE is closed.
After your uninstall, reboot and see if you have the toolbar.

Next you can install the messenger again without the sponser.
If you have a file: "...\Program Files\C2Media\Setup.exe",
delete the folder "C2Media"
