Msn Email Notification Problem

Hi All,

Don't know if anyone has encountered this yet but my msn
messenger program correctly notifies me of my new email
messages when I sign in. However after I have viewed all
of the messages it still claims I have the same amount of
unread messages as when I signed in.

I recently installed Norton Antivirus & Firewall but the
email notifications were updated to reflect no new
messages when I viewed them all, only recently it is not
reflecting the changes so I don't believe Norton is the
culprit.

Any ideas or tips to fix this?

Btw if I sign out of msn messenger and back in it will
update the changes.

Greetings Adrian,

Some of the Hotmail servers are currently undergoing maintenance, this problem will just
correct itself.
