I am having problems deleting a contact in windows messenger, when I try to
do it a pop up tells me the contact cannot be deleted, please try again
later, any ideas what could be causing this, the contact is blocked also but
I am not able to unblock it either

I have the newest version of messenger, on xp with sp2 installed

any help appreciated

Greetings Dave,

Does your Passport happen to be an @hotmail.com or @msn.com e-mail?

If so, simply log into Hotmail (http://hotmail.msn.com), click Contacts, then Messenger on
the left-hand side, and delete them from there.

That does not work. It takes you to the .NET sign up sheet.
