Hey guys, I recently got a SB4101 Cable modem from motorola, and If i direct my browser to my assigned ip address, i can access the modem config utility

In that theres a DHCP server enabled within, and It says it is possible to use the modem as a gateway with up2 32 users.

Can i use this just with a plain hub, with the modem connected to the UPlink port, and my other comp's in other 3 ports? if it helps ive got all 10/100 cards and ive got an Office connect TP4 hub.

Is it possible to use the modem as a gateway? It sure seems so. Any help or previous experiences would be much appreciated.

I COULD get a router and all but it is pretty expensive, and i don't really want to haev a computer on all the time if i use ICS>
