I just replaced my old CPU, an Athlon Thunderbird 1GHZ (I fried it), with a 1.13GHZ Athlon Thunderbird, but the new one has a 266MHz FSB and my motherboard (a ASUS A7V KT133)only reads it as 850MHz. I looked on the chip and it says it is a 1133MHz processor. I'm not sure what's wrong...should I return the processor or is the speed slower because my motherboard's FSB is too slow?

Try setting jumpers to 11x103

His mobo won't run at 133MHz FSB despite it has that setting.

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.
