Hi, I am using a DFI CA63-EN mobo with a 639A/686B chipset and I am not satisfied with it.
Can anyone tell me wich is the best mobo for a PIII 1GHz/133MHz Socket370? I was thinking at ABIT SA6 or SA6R, but I am open to other ideas!
If you can help me I thank you truly.

Thaks!!

It depends on whether you ever want to upgrade the CPU:

The best chipset ever made for the PIII was the BX. The best BX board is the Abit BX133-Raid. The only problem is that it won't support future upgrades to a Tualatin.

The second best chipset for the PIII is the i815. The Asus TUSL2-C has the newest version of that chipset for Tualatin support.

Slot 1 boards will support Coppermines with a standard Slotket, and both Coppermines and Tualatins when used with the Powerleap iP3/T adapter. This is the rout I'm going so that I can use the best avaialble (BX) chipset.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?

One other comment.

I swapped out a BX133-R for a ST6-R (i815EP) and the board blew at 147MHz. Back with the BX133 and I'm a happy chappie.
