hi everyone i'm new to these forums.
just wanted to ask i have a k7t turbo2 board and i tried using the fuzzy logic to overclock my duron 800 and sometimes it shows 1098mhz sometimes just 897mhz ?? how come it's not stable ??? also i just used the live bios option to update the bios and my pc came slower then before anyone know what's happening ???

I heard that you want to keep the bios on this board at 2.9, I think. Go to the MSI boards and search. I have this board also but have yet to use it cause my proccessor is not here till tomorrow, how is it working for you so far?

the only guaranteed way to find the limits of overclocking is to do it yourself. the hard way.
get an unlocked chip
a good cooler
a decent psu
raise the voltage
and slowly increase the voltage.

The lack of thermal protection on Athlon's is cunning way to stop morons from using AMD. :)
