I'm posting this in the motherboard section because it seems this is where most of the frustration of building a computer is most evident.
About a month ago, I decided I was going to buy and assemble the best hardware I could (while also considering
value), in order to get maximum enjoyment out of playing
flight sims. After much research, I've pretty much narrowed
it down to a Soyo K7V Dragon+ mobo, AMD Athelon XP 1900+ CPU
Gainward/Cardexpert Geforce3 Ti200 vid card, 512 PC2100 DDR
memory, Plextor 24x10x40 CD-RW, and a Samsung 955DF 19" mon.
My question to all you good folks out there is this. With all the issues people have with building their own computer,
would I avoid certain grief buy paying the extra money and
find a system integrator to assemble one to my specs? If you could do it again, what would you do?
Thanks
Jack
