help new mother just beeps

hi just put in new motherboard cpu video card
i start it up and i get 1 beep followed by 8 short
beeps then about 10 seconds later i get 2 short 1 long
beep then nothing
i've got power all my fans are working my hard drive starts to load then stops
this is what i have
k7s5a motherboard
1ghz tb cpu
32 mgb tnt 2 video
256 133 mhz cruciul ram
could anyone help me here

If you ever get a prob like this always consult to your mobo manual to see what the beeps mean or on the website....it should let ya know somewhat why the beeps are occurring...i just built a system yesteday with the same board and had no problems with a 1.4tbird , geforce 2 mx400, 256mb pc2100...

just troubleshoot man everything you can think...the best way to start for anyone is to remove everything except the essientals meaning take out everything except for the video card and see what ya get....try reseating the cpu and memory...is your power supply at the MINIMUM 300w ?...and if so is it a quality psupply?....that board requires no jumpers to be changed so it couldnt be that....

if you done all of this and you still have problems take the mobo out and lay it on the static bag that came with it to see if you ahve a ground short and try booting it from there...just keep trying im sure that u will be ok..=]
