video box

I've used my Logitech webcam successfully with Windows
Messenger for several months. Now all of the sudden,
where the video box in Windows Messenger used to appear
(in the upper right-hand corner of my "conversation" box)
is a blank gray box. The video box now appears
completely outside of the Messenger application
underneath all of the application boxes in the uppder
left-hand corner of my desktop. Can anyone tell me how
to get the video box back into Windows Messenger where it
belongs?
