Mouse is not getting detected by intellipoint 4.0

I post here because I think this more due to the mainboard than anything. Just don't know what.

I changed from an Intel 850MV to abit TH7II, now the Intellipoint 4.0 worked perfect with my non microsoft mouse with the 850MV, now when I click on mouse in the control panel I get around a 20 second delay and the older mouse interface comes up instead of the intellipont 4.0 interface.

Anyone have anyidea why ?
I am also using the latest bios with the TH7II and using a P4 2.0A

Double check the drivers for the mouse in the device manager.

XP already see's my mouse as a Human Interface, it also shows a USB mouse as well. The generic crap drivers with XP see my mouse no problem, but the new 4.0 drivers don't. Just strange both the TH7II and 850MV use the same 850 chipset, so what else could it be ?
