I have two hotmail accounts and was using both MSN Messenger and Windows
Messenger successfully together (one for each hotmail account). Then I
upgraded to MSN Messenger 6.2 and Windows Messenger Version 5 and now it
seems my Windows Messenger is no longer connected to my hotmail account.
That is to say I no longer get e-mail notifications which is the main reason
I used the service. Even though I have to sign in using my hotmail username
and password, it seems unconnected to my hotmail e-mail account. I wish I
had never downloaded the latest versions. Is there anyway to correct this
problem? Thank you.

Greetings Andrea,

The Hotmail functionality (to be more specific the Add-In functionality) was removed in
Windows Messenger 4.7.3000 and above. You can simply downgrade back to Windows Messenger
4.7.2009 here:
http://microsoft.com/downloads/det [...] 597545a6b4
and use the Add-In here:
