Another motherbord?

I have an AMD Thunderbird 1400 266 on a Asus A7M266 UDMA100 (socket A) Motherbord. I found on this site that my motherbord only supports 1200!! Dose it matter?? //Boa

Most asus boards have Bios updates to let you use bigger and better processors. Check your bios updates and read about them to find out if that is the case.

Most motherboard manufacturers only list the fastest processor available at the time they write the manual-in the manual. It's not a problem.
