Hi.

Our company is developing webcam drivers (using DDK Streaming MiniDrivers
architecture) , which i need to make sure that they're compatible with MSN
Messenger.

Recently I've just done some tests with our driver on MSN 6.2 on Windows XP.
It could run smoothly both in the Webcam Settings Window and in the Video
Chat window. However, when i selected it in the Audio and Video Tuning
Wizard, it still informed me that the webcam is either in use or
incompatible, which is certainly not true, since it could run without any
problem.

So could anyone advise me on the specifications/requirements for the webcam
driver to be fully compatible with MSN Messenger, especially the Audio &
Video Tuning Wizard (for example: what are the interfaces that the webcam
needs to support), or advise me on where i could look for that information.

Thanks and best regards.
