Are you experiencing the issue on only one computer or does occur on every
system you use?

I have seen a scary amount of people having the same or a similar
problem.
I don't know why this happens but I do know that if you use firefox or
opera you can access your hotmail inbox without any problems.
I will report it if I find anything else..

It seems when I switch dial up connections some of the Hotmail problems
clear up which is a disturbing finding. When I switch back to my
previous dial-up number the Hotmail problem resurfaces. Shutting down
the connection to Earthlink start pages also seems to help.

It bothers me even more to hear IE users are more subject to the
problems that Opera and Firefox users. Again Hotmail support goes
silent and sends the usual form letter to upgrade everything on your
system. Meanwhile a free account I have with Yahoo purrs along. It
seems to me they should build a system that has backward compatibility
instead of something like IE that requires weekly fixes.

There should be a 'help signing in' link if you've forgotten either your login or password.

If you account has been deleted, you will need to contact the hotmail support.
