Block Popups in Firefox

Step 1

Click on the Tools option in the top menu bar (for Windows users) or the Firefox menu (for Mac users).

Step 2

Click Options (for Windows) or Preferences (for a Mac). The corresponding box will now open.

Step 3

Click the Content icon.

Step 4

Make sure the box next to 'Block Pop-up Windows' is checked.

Step 5

Click the 'Exceptions' button and a box titled 'Allowed Sites - Popups' will open. You can type in the web address of any sites for which you want to allow popups.

Step 6

Close the box and then close the options box by clicking on 'OK'. Mac users only need to close the preferences box to save the new choices.

I hope this helps!
