I'm looking for information on Overclocking my Celeron 366 running on a MEL-M Asus Motherboard with an Intel 440LX Chipset what is the max I can over clock it to? and on a seccond note, I'm looking for a BIOS update, do any exist?
yup, I looked into it, and it can go all the way to 100 MHZ now dumb question from an overclocking newbie, what do I look for (jumpers, BIOS settings) to be able to hork it up to 83 or even 92? and would it be possible to find out if it can be incrimented by 1 MHZ?
Switch 1,2,3, and probably 4 controll your FSB/AGP/PCI clocks. Unfortunately the higher settings are not documented. Also, the 100MHz setting, even if present, will not be stable. I personally would try playing with those jumpers after an exhaustive search of the net for those settings, and would not recommend going beyond 83MHz with this chipset.
Hey, forget that, I just found it on Asus's russian website! The settings for Switch 1, 2, 3 are:
83.3MHz=On-Off-On
75MHz=Off-On-Off
66Mhz=Off-Off-Off.
