Hello, i've read about some problems with Soltek SL75DRV2.

I want to upgrade to an Athlon XP 1800 + Soltek SL75DRV2,
but i don't want incompatibility issues or blue screens.
I'm going to use a GeForce 3 Ti200 from Creative, SB Live,
& a KingMax 256 MB DDR module.

It's safe to buy that motherboard ? or should i buy another
mobo ?

I've read at Toms Hardware that it's an excellent mobo,but
in spite of, i'm not sure & i want to know your comments.

Very Thanks

what i have read on forums and heard from soltek was that only the first batches that they deliverd had problems with the athlon XP =)

I use some kind of this config (only cpu is 1600+). Stable and fast like hell. Just had problems with winxp on this set - it refused to recognise my drivers. I mean, manufacturer didn't prepare gf3ti500/winxp drivers, detonator didn't work :{

As long as it comes with the bios revision 3.5 it should be just fine. I had no problem at all setting up my Soltek with an AXP 1900+.
