AMD XP 1600

I recently installed a new Abit KR7A motherboard with the AMD 1600 chip. Upon booting I noticed that the system is only running at 1.05 mhz instead of the 1400mhz that the chip is supposed to run at. I check the bios and it looks like it is set right but since the speed is not correct I think I am missing something. Please help.

Check if your FSB is set to 133 MHz. Or that you've selected Athlon XP1600.

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground .
