When I wake my laptop from sleep mode, it appearss as though explorer.exe is acting up, and all of the windows seem to mend together, and typing sometimes lags, however, when I end the explorer.exe task and start it up again, it does not solve the problem. I'm not sure if this is a Windows 7 problem or not, because when I got the laptop it had 64 bit Vista but I immediately uninstalled that and installed Windows 7 because Vista is terrible. But the laptop has been acting this way as long as i can remember.

win 7 has sleep issues, especially pre rtm versions but it still has issues in the rtm, google it

So it's just because of Windows 7 and it's not my physical computer?
Edit: I googled the it and none of the problems described seem to match mine.

Install vista and try sleep. Im telling you its win 7 issue. Especially if you got beta or rc.

Well I'd rather just not use sleep mode than use Vista to be perfectly honest. You don't think the final release will have this problem do you?
