I bought three of them, but can't get them to work in repeater mode,
and D-Link tech support has been deliberately unhelpful. They get a
link but won't pass data, or link up and crash, or hang the AP when
you roam back and forth. It's been a really frustrating experience.

I ended up connecting them up as wired APs to a router, and they seem
to work much better (only one power cycle required in the last couple
of weeks). Of course, the whole point of them being repeaters was
that I wouldn't have to run wires (in the attic, on 90 degree days)...

D-Link has promised a firmware update (to add WPA) for Q2, but Q2 is
over with no changes to their WWWebsite, and their tech support
doesn't even _see_ firmware queries...

Last D-Link product I {buy,specify,reccomend}.

Sigh.
