hi,there.
I try to update my old system (my old one is Abit BP6).
I don't like BP6 much, always compatibility problems and celeron slow.
I want to get a Dual PIII motherboard? I only want pc133 ram, can't afford to get rambus.
I heard that Gigabyte GA-6VXDC7 is good and cheap, but I can't find it anymore on internet.
Asus CUV4X-D is quiet expensive.
What about Elitegroup D6VAA? Is it stable?
I never try Elitegroup product before.

did Anyone has any experience with Elitegroup before?
what about its warranty? HOw long?

Did Anyone has any experience with VIA Apollo 133 chipset which works for the dual P-III system?
Need sugguestion please!!!
Thanks.

Have a look at Abit's VP6.

Avoid ECS Elitegroup like the plague they will NOT support you if you have problems

You can see my new post "ECS D6VAA and SCSI Adaptec 39160 DUAL channel".
If I received support from Adaptec (but without result for my problem), today (2 march) I don't yet received any response from ECS (except a automatic reception message from ECS UK).
ECS mainboards have corrects comments in the IT magazines but their support...
So, be carefull with ECS. (= response hardwarefreek)

the vp6 is probably the best dual board available with all the new options.
As stated above I would avoid anything ECS (Elitegroup) as it is a PCChips motherboard. They are known for slow troublesome boards with no tech support. They have a hitory of dropping support (bios updates, drivers etc...) soon after the board is released.

I aint signing nothing!!!
